What is it about a space that gives it character? Is it the light, the textures or colours, or is it the energy that's left behind by the people that inhabit it?
There's something really special about how certain details can take us to a different time or place. It's probably really enjoyable to be in a place long enough to slowly shape it into something special, filling it carefully considered meaningful and beautiful things.
I tend to favour uncluttered, minimal spaces, but I can appreciate the textures and touches I found in this space I stayed in. The little decor details tied together to give the place a unique character and feel.
