I wanted to highlight some of the easy ways and affordable you can quickly breathe some life into your space. This piece fits right in with what where I'm taking the blog right now too. I'm going through and I'm going to clear out my drafts folder - if there's a space that's in need of some new energy it's there. There's a ton of fragmented creative ideas that have been left lurking in there for too long. While refreshing your digital spaces is one thing, if there's a sure way to reframe your thinking and bring some freshness back to your spirit it's by making the space around you feel a bit more polished.

Air Your Space

If you live with Irish weather, the prospect of cracking open a window is likely unappealing most days, however getting fresh air into your space can really change how it feels. It's a free and effective way to clear away the cobwebs.

Plants

I recommend filling your space with as many plants as you can, okay, yes they require care and attention but they help clean your air and they can have a really soothing effect. We're supposed to be out in nature after all, so do what you can to bring nature to you. Especially if being outdoors doesn't feature heavily as part of your everyday.

Scents

Get yourself a diffuser or an oil burner and infuse your space with some natural fragrance. From well-known lavender, to uplifting bergamot and grapefruit, scents are one of the fastest way to change your mood or shift the energy in a space.

De-clutter

This one might be for those that have the luxury of a bit more space, but if you can reduce the amount of things around you it's a surefire way to revamp a space and change your mindset. I can guarantee it's going to help calm your mind bring a sense of order to your life, both mentally and physically.
