Set Yourself Up For Transformation Before New Year

Tuesday, 3 December 2024

The new year is just around the corner, and it's the perfect time to start setting yourself up for transformation. Here are some ways to set yourself up for success in the coming year.. your time is now!

Your Identity Is The Core To Transformation

You need to slowly and consistently create a habit and then it integrates into the person you are and is no longer so challenging to incorporate into your routine. Dig deep and reflect on who you are, what's important to you, and how you want to grow.

No Growth Without Pain

Get comfortable being uncomfortable. Embrace the challenge and see it as an opportunity to become your best self. Over time you will learn to truly appreciate it's all about the journey. We make everything about getting somewhere, enjoy the journey - it's the climb!

Create Your Vision Board

Instead of creating endless lists of to-dos, try creating a beautiful visual of the life you want to build, and the person you want to become. Visualization is a powerful tool.  Let your vision board represent your goals and aspirations to inspire you and keep you motivated. Both Canva and Pinterest's new collage tool are perfect for putting together a vision board.

Mindset

Be kind to yourself as you undertake changes but also do what you can to develop your inner strength and resilience. The way you think, shapes your reality so do what you can to change your mindset to be one that serves you.

Persistence & patience

When you come across a setback, you just roll with it and integrate it. Success is not linear and neither is transformation, be prepared for when things don't go to plan and have a way to get yourself back on track. Embrace the process, be patient and keep showing up.

Consistent Small Daily Actions

The book Elastic Habits by Stephen Guise taught me a lot about how your habits can be flexible and should be changed to fit your daily bandwidth. It's building your new habits into your life through consistency that leads to long-term change.
